From September 2015 there will be four terms in the academic year instead of the current three and there is a winter break planned at the end of January matching other educational institutions in Qatar to make sure students will not miss British Council classes due to conflicting holidays.
The academic year for 2015-16 at the British Council Qatar begins in September and as a direct result of this change, students will now be able to complete more terms in the year and complete an English level every year.
We are also offering special, additional sessions to adult learners on a range of skills such as Conversation, Business Workshops and IELTS Writing courses to supplement the popular English for Life, English for Business, and IELTS Preparation courses. These top-up skills sessions will be held on Thursdays and Saturdays and are designed to help customers who need improvement in specific areas.

1- QAR 150 Loyalty Discount for Adult students: students must re-register from one term to the next available term*.
2- QAR 200 Loyalty Discount for Young Learner students : students must re-register from one term to the next available term*.
* These discounts are available for each re-registration within the Academic Year (September to May). However, it is not available if a term is skipped during the Academic Year, except for students registering into Term 1 (September/October) from either Term 4 (April/May), or from any of the Summer Terms.
